Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of the Sector 7 Studios website. By accessing or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Client engagements are governed by separate written agreements; if a signed agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.
Use of the site
You may use the site for lawful, informational purposes. You agree not to:
- Interfere with the site's operation or security, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data.
- Scrape, harvest or bulk-download content, or use automated tools to submit forms.
- Use the contact form to send spam, unlawful material or content you have no right to share.
- Misrepresent who you are or who you act for when contacting us.
Intellectual property
Everything on this site, including films, photography, written copy, design and code, is owned by Sector 7 Studios or used with permission from our clients, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any of it without our prior written consent, other than viewing and sharing links in the ordinary course of browsing.
Client names, logos and trademarks shown in our portfolio belong to their respective owners. Their appearance documents work we have delivered and does not imply any endorsement of this site.
Enquiries and submissions
Information you send through the contact form is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship, and nothing you send us through the form is treated as confidential until we have both signed an agreement that says so. Please confirm the information you submit is accurate and yours to share.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or current. Content on this site is general information about our work and is not professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sector 7 Studios and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or connected to your use of this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.
Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services (such as analytics and bot protection). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its date at the top, and changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
